If you are skilled at managing and optimizing synthetic data pipelines, with a specific focus on labelling for computer vision, you will love this role. You’ll have experience in designing and implementing data infrastructure, ensuring high-quality labelled datasets, with a willingness to collaborate internally to support the organization’s CV initiatives.
You’ll have a refreshing blend of a fast-moving start-up environment with support from an established world-leading parent company. The blended environment means that you will be part of a fully cross-functional team and liaise daily with ML Engineers, Vision Engineers, other Data Engineers, and be able to seamlessly work with everyone across the whole company.
As a proven Senior Data Engineer with a focus on computer vision and data labelling, you should have:
- Computer Science & Data Engineering Qualification (ideally Bachelors), and 5+ years of experience in a related field – ideally with data annotation tool and frameworks experience.
- Programming skills (Python, SQL) and distributed computing experience; with proficiency in data modelling, ETL processes, and data pipeline design.
- Knowledge of OLTP databases (e.g. Postgresql), Cloud Platforms (e.g. Azure, GCP, AWS), Workflow Management Tools (e.g. Dagster, Airflow) and tools that simplify data movement (e.g. Airbyte).
